just saw a show on horses in Russia...wondering if the equestrian world is big in Russia...like are there a lot of places to ride...and Show? I like horses even though I never had one of my own...but my sisters had them.

It certainly is. Horses are part of Russian tradition. There are plenty of places to ride. But the scene can differ somewhat from lets say, the UK, and definitely different from horse riding in the US.

Most adopt English or European riding styles. There are also some very interesting Russian and Central Asian horse breeds. Don, Orlov Trotters, Akhal Tekes etc.
