WTR has a good thing going here with this site, it is very useful and informative. I just hope that they take my criticisms in the constructive spirit in which they were intended. Like you said, nothing is 100%, and there's always room for improvement. Businesses can't know where and how to improve if their customers don't tell them.

The reality is that it's a low-margin business. This is not Expedia. You cannot expect a dedicated travel consultant to answer all of your questions for the kind of profits those services are generating. It's not a reasonable expectation, in my view. You can ask all the questions you have about the forms on this forum. You can also use email to send your questions. The reality of this business is that in order to answer your questions by phone, the owner would need to pay the call center and it costs money. If they had a call number, they would probably have to charge more.

I don't know what Jo Jo is talking about. I wonder where did she purchase the software. Symantec does provide phone support. If Jo Jo had a boyfriend, he would help her find the numbers Smile

I purchased my software at Wal-mart and they do not refund software after you bought it. They will not refund it at all. You have to send it back to the company, with the receipt and get a refund that way. It sucks! This is why I don't buy CD's, DVD's and software from Wal-mart anymore. I did get a hold of a person from Symantec and I mailed out the product with the receipt, but since I spoke with them on the phone I am going to be billed for their service. That was a joke...

I don't need a boyfriend to help me find numbers. I am self-sufficient you know...

As said before, you'll get a reply usually much faster if you post your question on this forum or through http://support.waytorussia.net -- usually a few hours.

The reason is that we want to make all the information we have available to everybody who visits the site. If we answer each phone call personally it'll take lots of resources to put each case online afterwards.

You can buy anti-virus software on eBay much cheaper. This sounds like a very strange problem. Wal-Mart is right not to accept opened software, because they cannot be responsible for what you do with it.

Personally, I switched to McAfee AntiVirus

The problem with Wal-mart is that they do not tell you that they will not return it or refund your money. I personally prefer McAfee because they have an easy program and my computer runs smoothly with this software, but McAfee had some problems with viruses (3 years ago)getting through there anti-virus program and how this virus got through, they used McAfee's logo (same layout) and sent me a email telling me about other products and I clicked on a link and all hell broke lose and my computer was destroyed. I had to get another computer. I could have rebuilt it but that was too much time. I just started college too and needed this computer. The situation with McAfee is just a trust issue.

Another AnitVirus program that is really good is Avast. Avast has the best antivirus program there is. I love this program it is so easy to use, but Avast does not yee & haw with other software very well. It did not go well with my Norton program that I have right now. Norton is alright but they are annoying when you want to surf because they slow your computer down to almost a halt. They let spammers in your email and even when you set your settings to med or high to keep unwanted pop ups out they still manage to get through. Norton needs to upgrade on some of their programs especially their anti-spyware program.

just my thoughts
