REliable, Do not have worry about cops or traffic . Great for annex countries and destroy morale lesser people that actually think that have a say.
Only thing that stops it is a chinese guy with bags in Tianamen Square. Weird |

Alice you have awesome taste in cars. That Toyota Supra ROCKS! I used to have a Supra. I love Supras so much I might buy my old one back for more than I sold it for. The SC430 is also a very ssswweeeet ride. |

| How do I vote on here or is the poll done? I vote for Asian. Although it was a close one with the Yugo and Mini Coop. |

| Guys, you have very sofisticated desires about cars. Atomcat's suggestion is interesting but expends to much gas. If I had to choice a car to drive in Eastern Europe, for sure I'd try first a Trabant, that fantastic machine from East Germany. It's cool. It became an icon. How about to drive it in Moscow and St. Pete? |

Castilho,
No offence to you, but I fell off my chair laughing when I read your comment about the Trabant. When the wall came down, West Germany was suddenly deluged by East Germans driving these fibreglass bodied, two-stroke smoking, rolling wrecks all over West Germany. In response to the Green's and the citizenries general concern about these POS's cluttering up the place, West Germany introduced a lot of measures to ensure these were removed from the roads. Knowing how thorough they are, I wouldn't mind betting that the Trabant population suffered a massive crusher induced decline. I even remember watching a documentary about the whole Trabant problem!!
Stick with an old Lada...you'll pass unnoticed and you can rod it up using a FIAT motor witha couple of humungous DCOE webers hanging off the side...
Regards

I agree with you, Usual Suspect. Trabant is not a car to run in Germany highways. But I read last week a interesting article about a Sight Seeing in Berlin. And do you know which car you can have a tour in East Berlin? Yeah, a beautiful Trabant. This car has charm.
I love old cars. I have a DKW Vemag here in Brazil. A car of the 60's, original engine that works with gasoline and oil, like old lambrettas. It's fun. I'd like to drive a Lada, also. I had a Niva, years ago. It's a very strong car.
Best wishes to you and the magic people from Land of Oz. |

| Best car to drive in Russia is someone else's car. Prefereably not friend. THen you can bag drive it. Paint it orange and put the Ukainian flag on the roof and you can be the Uks of Hazzard. |
