On my way out of Russia I intend to travel to Tallinn by train. If I do so from Moscow will I require a Belarus Transit visa (i.e. does the train go through Belarus)? Is there anywhere I can find this kind of info?

I'm trying to work out some logistics here. I'm entering Russia from Helsinki by train. I guess it might make sense to go Helsink>Moscow>St Petersburg>Tallinn but I figure St P might be an easier 'introduction' to Russia (given I can barely speak a word) and so am thinking of going there first. Any comments/suggestions?
