| Hi folks, we married in Moscow in June, my wife is still in Moscow and i am back in uk, sometime this month we will be submitting the visa application, we have all the correct documents etc, my query is. because i am disabled i receive public funds, i cannot work because of medical advice, the money i receive is enough for 2 people (£180 per week disposable income) will they refuse visa on grounds that i get benefit, is this discrimination? i hope someone has some advice on this as i do not know where else to look, thanks anyway |

| I'm afraid that being on government aid is usually seen as a negative when sponsoring individuals for immigration, however I'd recommend calling whatever government agency in the UK is responsible for handling immigration, and address that question to them. They'd be the only ones who could gave you a truly accurate answer. |
