I am planning on going to Moscow for New Year's Eve. Does anyone have any suggestions about where to go with friends? I was trying to find a restaurant or somthing fun to do for dinner but can't seem to find any information at all. We have plans later in the evening, but I was hoping to find something to do earlier so that nobody has to cook.

Let me know if you have any ideas. There will be kids with us too, so anything that would be interesting for kids would be great.

Thanks.

Ashton,
You seem to be someone who is knowledgeable and experienced in traveling to Russia. I am jealous. What are your plans for later in the evening on New Years Eve? I am sure that most Ruissian restaurants will be a very pleasant place for your family. Speaking of families, I am interested in learning more about visiting and enjoying Russia witrh children. It's so different once you have children. But then again, families are the focus ( I can't think of a better word), for life, love and happiness. Happy New Year!

My friends have plans to go to Red Square after dinner but it depends on how thoroughly frozen I am by then. I am not exactly a cold weather kind of guy. I just decided to go this afternoon so we really haven't had much time to plan anything.

I was kind of hoping to find something to keep us busy indoors to avoid being outside walking around. My friend has super hyperactive 11 year old that will be with us, so I was also hoping to find something to keep him occupied.

Have a nice New Year.
