yes my dear dude, a god himself will come as messenger sometimes. we have a ethical grading, in place of god we will worship 1)mother 2)father 3)teacher/educator 4) God.
This is how it goes.

is it true every russian will consume alcohol (vodka)? its very starnge to hear.
this is what i heard? |
You nasty little hypocrite, here you are trash talking Richard Gear because he dared to act western in India with Shilpa Shetty, yet you are not prepared to leave your own culture at the door, when entering Russia? Open your mouth and eat the meat, drink the vodka, and shut up!!! |

| Welcome to the forum! It's really quite simple just don't respond or post a reply. After all you two are grown men. India has a lot of problems...unfathomable problems...I was told that India is the dirtiest place on earth...and this by someone who has been to almost every country there is. But India is also rich in history and culture. India though has all the ills of any society...murderers, rapists, sexual predators etc. So every country has this stuff. Ok let's try and tone things down |

| Well surfguy bsawaminathan is the one who chose to become increasingly nastier with each of his posts, even after it was explained that the point was moot. Now he plays victim, after all his nasty comments about the west, he expected you to completely ignore reality in order to side with him. Pathetic really, and typical! |

I cannot agree anymore with Jorge than I can disagree you...so it is not for me to judge and not for me to decide who stays and who goes. Your conversation is with Jorge not me. You and I have had some good conversation...and your prescence on the forum is more than welcomed...but too perhaps that is for you to decide. I know for me I certainly wouldn't let some dude name Jorge run me out of here. But too our culture is different from yours and I know that people who are from India and who settle here in the USA...they keep only to thier own and use our country. So anyway yeah stand and fight...be man! |

Ya! I think so, even when the INDIAn president Dr Abdul Kalam has one thru a similar situation where he exchanges a glass of vodka with water with this immediate secretary clandestinely as he finds difficult to manage that situation.
I would say that its a excess desire to force some one to act upon one and oneself.
It all depends how we are diplomatic in dealing such matters. |

You'll be ok...depends on the people you are with too...I think more will be accepting. Drink with the women...they will be more sympathetic and appreciative of your purity |

This is absolutely true, buddy. For anyone to expect you to do something that you are set against doing, amounts to a disrespect to you, as a person. You should simply say " I cannot drink" politely, then if the host gets angry, it's more a statement on their acceptance and maturity, than it is on yours. It's your life, and you have the right to live it any way you see fit.
BTW, I didn't catch your religion. There's a big holiday for Indians coming soon, isn't there? |

There is a huge gap between kicking back a shot of vodka and drinking the entire bottle. I think simply stating "I do not want to die", should be a good enough excuse to avoid the entire scene. |
