Nowadays, fortunately, we can read good russian authors em Portuguese, translated directly from Russian. Years ago, we could only read russian books from French or English. So, I discovered this incredible good Boris Akunin who writes about a 19 century detective named Fandórin. How many books did he already write with Fandórin? We have four in Portuguese, included '"Winter Queen". Others new russian writers published in Portuguese are Victor Pelevin and Alexandra Marínina. Are they very popular in Russia?

I believe Akunin has written so far 11 books with Fandorine and 2 with his descendant, and 3 books with a nun Pelagija

Eleven books, Anna? Good. I'll be waiting for next seven romances. As Boris Akunin became popular also in Brazil, I suppose all them will be translated into Portuguese. Thanks a have a nice week.
