This is very true. The Russian women are looking to get far away from Russia. Why else would they target western men ( US and American ) so often. Doesn't seem that as many are looking for European men, does it?
I get emails all the time from Russian and Ukrainian women that are unsolicited. Why would a respectable Russian woman want a long haired dope smoking hippy?  |
I think it is the reputation that Russian men beat their women and drink too much, why would a Russian woman be any different than any other woman in this world. A woman wants stability in a man and if she is not getting it then she is going elsewhere to look for it. Women have always depended on the man to bring home the bacon and if they are not, stay drunk and the good ones are not around then she is going to go and find it. Who wants to deal with limits all the time. So if Russia has not what a woman wants in a man and if he does nothing but drink and the men who are not available that don't drink then what should she do? Go somewhere else. American men have always had the reputation of treating women good, but can be bossy ( including MOST southern men) and maybe a Russian woman wants that too, but those American men who marry Russian women think they are going to get a woman they can mistreat because they are taking care of them, don't think you are looking for a weak woman because my friend is assertive and smart, she talk to me about some of the Russian brides who came to America, Russian women are smart and because they want stability financially doesn't mean they are going to be pushed around or bossed 24/7...American men think they are going to get a gofer like this when they go over there, think again because Russian women won't be bossed and under appreciated like the American women.

Believe me, hot American men are not running to Russia for brides. It is mostly fat, not handsome in the face, twice divorce American men running to Russia for wives. I know too many good looking straight guys who think Russian women are hot, but they are not going to Russia to spoil them and bring them home. Most of these women scam these poor losers once they get here. But it's the pathetic feeding off the pathetic both looking for something from each other..one for money and one for a trophy wife. |

I was told that Russian men get depressed often from the hard times (financially..ect) so they take their frustrations out on their women. |

I've met American men who met Russian women here in the States and married them..I think it's different when they meet them here..Anyway this Russian bride crap is nuts. I don't understand why one has to go thousands of miles to meet someone and marry them. Why can't they just find someone closer. It's too creepy looking at a photo and saying, I'm going to marry this one because she has blue eyes and dark hair, not even knowing or speaking with her. It's sad that you have to travel 10 hrs on a plane to get laid

From what Yuri tells me the stories that they hear about Canada and the US is that its an easy life. Well they sure discover the opposite when they get here! He didn't expect things to be so tough. Some immigrants are regarded as 2nd class or lower citizens in Canada. Not sure about the US
Some women would be expecting the world from men that bring them to the West.

| Yes I heard this all the ime when I was in Russia...they think we have life so easy. Thing is those who have come here...many learn fast about how competetive it is...how expensive it is to go to school...and mortgages are a new idea to them. They soon learn how hard people work just to get by. And that so many things are expensive here...like good quality foods. And then the taxes that we pay...the costs for everything!!! But too they see the quality of life and so yes perhaps it is all worth it. I think the main stress factor on people living in foriegn lans are the distances from family and then to not having cultural ties to the area. Also I was told that I would never ever be russian or considered russian. And this is a big difference between the USA and so many places...One can always be American and accepted as one. |
