Actually I think that's great that France places second in math. Math is probably the most useful subject there is, these days. Except for Mr Spice. He still prefers to use his fingers and toes to count. He longs for the metric system, he gets confused passing twenty. Plus, when he's hanging from a tree branch, he can only count to 15. |
Normally, I don't need to count much. So my fingers serve me OK. If I need to count to 21, I can add my penis to the mix. |

| Quote: | BS...Sukhoi merged with another company to produce civilian jets. There is nothing anymore special about Russian Aviation than there is US...or Europe. Lockheed Martin is huge in Aviation...Dude...you need to get more up to speed on this stuff...come now
Also Buran's flight in 1985 was a taxi test...wasn't into space...that didn't happen until 1988 and lasted for 3 hours. It was unmanned. After which Buran never flew again...and later the roof of it's hangar collapsed on it and Buran is now in the bone yard |
SUKHOI doesn't merged, where as there is a stake holder, anytime they can be kicked out. no one can sure can own a piece of brick from russia. russia is not like iraq or afghan where anyone can swindle anything.
about buran there are lot of unconfirmed flights before the original news. you have to google in still deeper. there are many info that never come online. if you want to know them have a russian to english translator and read them completely. one of the russian master pieces are the "spiral project" just read it amazing. after the 1991 crisis they have dismantled it. you know one a total of 4 being built and 2 in the stage of completion.

so do u think nobel prize is the elite one among all. Ha.. Ha.. they give it to the satan gorbachev for his faithfulness in poisoning russia. there are many people in the world who refused to have it.
| Quote: | | And you are right Krasatulya, Russians doesn't seem very modest, I would say even a bit arrogant : |
May be they are, but they don't act like fox. they always wage straight to straight and not strike from the back.
| Quote: | Wrong. The French and the British did it with Concorde.
Did you notice that the Soviet counterpart of Concorde is the exact copy ? |
hey! how lack you are... any aircraft will have engines and 2 wings, if you design one it will have the same characteristics then shall i say that you copied mine. even NASA acknowledged Tu-144 design is far superior to Concorde, this they confirmed officially even after 1995 they approached Russia for a research work with Tu-144. Tu-144 is technically far superior to concorde and the base design for tu-144 is MiG-21. just check the specs of both in terms of seating capacity, take off weight & speed.
dude, don't believe your websites completely, what ever i'm saying i got the proof.
| Quote: | | In fact not the exact copy, tupolev 144 crashed at the Aeronotic Salon Le Bourget in France. |
Its a conspiracy because the french govt made last minute changes to its schedule. even a mirage tried to capture it in a video and its flying very close to it and the Tu-144 pilot want to avoid it and he preferred to crash it. even a French govt engaged in sabotage activities.

Hmm... then why don't the world build even a largest aircraft than this. they know its not their FORD performing even worse than a JAPAN made toy car.

The Russians (nor the US) don't have the equivalent of Ariane 5 launcher, which is able to carry up to 10 tons at 36 000 km orbit. |
For instance, the Proton rocket, with a 650-metric-ton lift-off weight, orbits 22-metric-ton spacecraft and can also launch 6.5-metric-ton interplanetary probes. hey read some basics. comparing russian ability is like a ant challenging a dinosaur.
| Quote: | | But the good from everyone trying to create something better is that we compete and push ourselves to create. |
Good.. then have your F-35 made full of home made instead of outsourcing everything. before that fix all the bugs in F-18, F-22 and make them airborne again before fabricating another junk.

| Quote: | | I give up. What? What, exactly does the Nobel prize have to do with anything? An award like that recognizes one person. |
Even you know there are many people who rejected this prize. also its like Hollywood where every home made movie is projected as a world class and unanimously giving prizes, its like father giving a pair bread pieces to his son and not to the neighbor. there are many INDIAN movies touched the steps of Oscar. every time when you see only a US/European made ones are chosen. like that the same in Nobel
Any true work doesn't require much publicity. we in INDIA believe that customers are the best advertisers for the product instead of a fake campaign.

hey its not a festival rocket. russians did the real one, they are the 1st to send satellite to space and they got the real stuff.
hey guys! it looks like im doing a campaign. but im not so. i'm not against to anyone at the same time we have to accept some facts. this goes again and again. so far i consider everybody as friends, but the recent posts doesn't validate it. If you all fell satisfied if i accept your views unanimously. ok! i do. |

| BS...have you been to Russia? I know you said you were looking to study there...but I can assure you that you would not be accepted there with open arms...and your patronizing is a bit rediculous. Seriously for a PhD student in Aviation...your understanding of military aircraft is rather naive. I think when you arrive in Russia you will think perhaps not differently...but at least from experience. Ok when it comes to military aircraft...the real proof is in the performance in combat. And so far-unfortunately it is only the US aircraft that have proven themselves. And that is the fact. If you think the F-18 is junk...think again...and just remember too...what fighter has India produced on it's own? |

Did i say F-18 is junk?
India has indigenously developed LCA. the last conference which i participated is regarding a civilian aircraft production in INDIA. I made a small documentary about the sources that can be accessed to manufacture a small aircraft inside homeland. its a 3+3 year project. it will host a G1000 display. I also pointed the measures to be followed to decrease the cost. all the hardware will be manufactured locally except we will import G1000, but i got a feedback to use alternative measure for the display. I also suggested what changes to be bring in, in the national civil aviation law to allow this.
I applied for Phd there and already i got a positive response. i will work on hybrid controls. i presented them with a concept paper where an UAV can fly, swim, submerge and in road. it uses hybrid propulsion. the place of research and funding is good. but there is a major restriction that the medium of instruction will be Russian. I have to decide. |

And as I thought India does not produce military aircraft. BTW both the above aircraft are airborne...and when were they not? |

I'm sorry it should be F-15 instead of F-18, F-18 has bugs but not so serious like F-22. lets wait and see about F-35. even in this Rolls Royce engines are predominantly used. can they try with GE or P&W? there is a serious testing going on with that particular engine.
Even when i see the advantages the boeing advertise for its 777 & 787, actually the RR engine is the backbone for it.
Again! I haven't yet decided, its a big risk to pursue Ph.d in a different medium of instruction. i will request for an exemption. |

This statement makes me a little uncomfortable. Are you insinuating that that it's acceptable to abuse one's wife |

He doesn't have a wife. You need to be a MAN. to have a wife. He, obviously, isn't. He only has the balls to insult me here on an internet forum. I already gave him my address, and phone number, and told him to come to Canada so we could meet face-to-face, but he doesn't have the balls to do that, and I am not wasting my money going to his shithole France (They'll call it New Arabia pretty soon! ) , so that is how it has been. For a while now, actually. Notice how he never has an intelligent answer to a single post I make. Only insults. What a moron. I bet he got kicked out of Spain because he was too dumb. He couldn't even fight a bull! He kept stabbing himself in the foot with the sword!

It is in India. That's why we have all these Indo-Canadian women getting beaten and even killed by their husbands here in Surrey, BC. (There's been over 20 cases just this year! ) |

Well according to this article wife beating in India is justified:
