Hi
I'm looking for some company that arranges trips where one comes close to the Russian people. I have heard of companies that arrange tours where you travel with a guide on trains etc. like a normal Russian traveler to different places in Russia, far from Moscow and St. Petersburg. The problem is that I can't find these companies. 
What I don't want is to be in a tourist group sightseeing the same sites as everybody else, never meeting any Russians and never seeing where real people live.
I'd travel by myself if not for the fact that I speak but a few words or Russian and worry a lot about practicalities of traveling and also safety.
Can anybody help me to find what I'm looking for?
