I am planning to visit for the first time Moscow in Feb'08, for business, I would appreciate all available guidance, assistance regarding weather, accomodation, enviroment etc., |

Suggestion is make sure you are at hotel near a metro. Buy a real good map when you are there. it will save you.
Almost every car can be a taxi, so if you put out your arm straight, then some will come over to you. If there is more than one person, avoid and look for another taxi. Negotiate the price in the beginning.
There is site in which explains the customs about Russian business, learn them and be prepared to drink a little.
Dress in the cold, dress in layers so that when you go inside, you can take a layer off. Good boots is also important.
When addressing the people, if you decide to use some Russian, use the formalize Vee, tee.
Dress well and in name brand. Image means allot. |
