It would be eaiser and more clear for you to provide the entire text of want you wish to translate and ask a Russian speaker to help you translate to protect the meaning. For example, Only God Will Judge Me transliterally referenced would be as follows: Только Бог Будет Судья Я Instead of the phrase referenced by Nikir: Обсуждать меня будет только Бог.

If you mean something like "my sister and I" or "mouse and keyboard" then it will be "и". And if you mean "I turned left and Jane turned right" it will be "а"....

It depends on the logical stress and level of detail.
