Hello Good people Can a russian person please tell me the name of this song and which musician is it by? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUkuTzqa0jI obviously this is just someone singing the song, i want to know who the song is by originally Thanks so much from rachel UK who is in love with russian language and music:)

I agree that the song is really nice. Well, when the girl on the boat's singing it! I did a yandex search for the song - seems it's called "Chisty List" (A clean sheet) by a group called "Nency" (well, that's how the name "Nancy" transliterates into Russian!). I've managed to download the song as sung by "Nancy". I have to say it's a huge disappointment after the beautiful singing of the girl!!! It's a tacky keyboard-driven song. I think the style is Russian 'shanson'. Bit of a nightmare. Still, its sounds great when played on an acoustic guitar (without the crappy keyboard etc)!! I'll send you a link to the song via PM.

The lead singer is called Anatoly Bondarenko (Анатолий бондаренко). Here are the You Tube links... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYmL3B-aldk - good sound, but not the original clip
