I know from reading various websites that it is very important to register my visa within 72 hours when I get to Russia. Here is my dilemma. I am traveling on a tourist visa to Krasnoyarsk and Lesosibirsk, via a layover of about 10 hours in Moscow. Once I arrive in Krasnoyarsk, I will be staying with my girlfriend and her family for a couple of days in Lesisobirsk. We will then return to Krasnoyarsk where we may stay in a hotel.(The hostel where she lives is very strict, so she suggested getting a hotel.) I have received my visa support through your website. How, where, and when might I go about getting the proper registration of my visa without tipping my hand as to the nature of my visa(i.e. tourist instead of private)? The hotel you appointed for me in Krasnoyarsk is the Yakhont. However, it may be a little too expensive for my taste, and I may not actually check into a hotel until 3-4 days after I enter the country. I appreciate any help on this subject that you can provide.

If you check in within 3 working days after you arrive in a hotel in Krasnoyarsk, they will register your visa. Otherwise, please, contact the visa company so that they provide a special letter for Krasnoyarsk OVIR for you that you can register your visa there. It won't be possible to register your visa in only 10 hours in Moscow and it's not needed anyway.
