Well, I do not want a illegal site to download, just a chart of the best news from russia, something peoples can enjoy outside of Russia, or even inside..
to be honest with you i'm not interested by those dj's trying to play techno with a equipment from 70's, or a rock-pop-hard-neolitic-punk. just some real music... something you will remember in 20 years. think about all the russian ex-patriates, don't you think they need some? so please, just a chart... |

My homepage: www.russmus.net has many information about Russian bands, with lyrics and translations. We also host some free mp3s, but only a few to give you a taste of what a band's music is like.
I'd say that when looking on the statistics of my site, bands like Zveri, Zemfira, Ruki Vverh and Via Gra come out to be the most popular amongst the site's visitors. |

@ russmus and miami:
I'm pretty much in love w/ Gogol Bordello and Leningrad and would greatly appreciate suggestions for other Russian/Ukranian bands in the punk/rock/ska genre. also, is that type of music well liked in Russia? I've heard that pop and techno are a lot more popular. this post is ridiculously old, though, so I'm not really expecting much of a response here... |

...yes, via gra. ha. I just love their name and though they say it's a composition of each girl's first name, it's still a very funny coincidence: Via gra/viagra and they are very beautiful girls. hahaha. i hit my boyfriend on the arm when he was gawking at them. |

Didn't they break up already (via gra)? I saw this Svitlana Loboda singing solo. Oh, by the way! I saw a video of them where she kissed this other ex Via gra member! I don't think she is lesbian, but that confuses me. Plus, aren't they Ukrainian, not Russian? |

| What is the Russian music industry composed of? I mean, no distinguishing between Ukrainian/Georgian or other Russian-speaking singers? For instance, Diana from Georgia, the blind girl, I love her. Is she famous also in Russia? Or only in Georgia? |

There is no difference where did she come from.
In Russia nobody see on nationality. If she live and work in Russia, she is Russian.
It's too close to American melting pot, but more aged. |
