Hiya,

I really need to apply for my visa tomorrow if possible, but having a few problems with getting the form done properly. I've followed the directions for printing the visa form from the London embassy website, but there is no margin on the right hand side. Also the website says you have to have a 5mm margin all the way round, and you can only use the form provided on the embassy website. This is giving me a huge headache, has anyone else applied for a tourist visa recently, and where did you get the form from? Did you have any problems?

I'd really appreciate any help Smile

thanks! Ceri

I'm having the same problem with printing the Visa pdf document. I've tried 2 different printers and cannot get the margins correct.

Has anyone had any experience of an application being rejected because of the margins, or does anyone know if it is acceptable to simply cut the paper?

Thanks

Phil

Try this link:-

I'm assuming this is the same form.

When you print it, in the "scaling" box, select "shrink to printable area". It works for me.

The above is the application form from the official site. It must now be printed on site, new rules from last year. Handwritten forms are unacceptable.

I've had no problems in the past filling them in, or applying direct. If you do have a problem, contact them as they are very helpfull.
