My uncle & aunt are traveling to Piter this summer for two weeks. I will be joining them and have lived in Russia on several occasions, but on ONE QUESTION they've got me stumped.
Can anybody let me know about the parkovka on Bolshaya Morskaya ploshchad'? The hotel claims it's safe & guarded, but at 400 roubles/a day, I am unsure that I want to commit to any place, I haven't heard expats vouch for! They will be staying at Nevski Inn, Kirpichnij Pereulok 2, so anything in that vicinity would be nice, as it's their first visit to Russia.
The basic plan is to drive the car from Germany and then park it for two weeks. They need the car, so that she can transport her art for a gallery opening. Perhaps you have a better idea?
I need to work this out ASAP, as my visa is already in the works! Natusik |
