I will be arriving in Moscow at 11am, and leaving about 11pm the next day on the Trans Mongolian route. I have seen hints that you can get a Mongolian transit visa done within 24 hours (I'm happy to pay the extra) - can anyone confirm this? I don't want to chance it as I am going straight through on the train and so won't have time to get one at Irkutsk. Thanks all.

If it were me, I would not depend upon a "maybe I'll get it in eight business hours". You arrive in Moscow at 11:00a? How long will it take you to get to the Mongolian embassy? When will the visa be ready?
