I'm sorry to have to make this my first post on this forum, I'm very excited about going to Russia for the first time and this web site was incredibly helpful in every other regard, so I feel bad making a complaint in my very first post.

That being said, I have yet to recieve two Trans-Siberian tickets from Inter Group that I ordered a significant amount of time ago with the explicit instructions that I would be leaving the US on 9 June and that if there were any problems in shipping them before then to let me know.

<<<EDITED>>>
I am now in conversation with Inter Group. They have been very prompt in responding to my claim. At the present time, it seems like there's been a misunderstanding between us based on a follow-up claim I sent informing them of my departure on 9 June. I immediately jumped because I was worried that what had happened to other travelers was happening to me, especially after being unable to reach them by phone.

I've certainly learned a lesson: word of mouth goes a long way in a business like travel arrangements, and the threat of damage to that reputation is a great one, and a long-lasting one. Inter Group already had a damaged reputation, and that spurred my immediate response. In retrospect, I would not have been so immediately and publicly hard on the company if it hadn't been for the past stories, and I feel sorry for upsetting them if they are trying as diligently as they seem to be now to repair that reputation.

I don't want to harm a legitimate business, but I don't think it was wholly inappropriate for me to "jump the gun" given the prior history recorded on this site. I cannot afford to be stranded in Moscow, and I have a low tolerance in dealing with scams.

However, given their response, I don't think Inter Group is a scam, and I feel sorry that this misunderstanding led to me coming to the worst conclusion. But let that be a lesson to all of us: reputation lasts a long time, and jumping to conclusions isn't always the best solution.

Alexander - I apologize for the strident tone in this message, given your quick response. However, I certainly did inform you on 12 May 2008 that I needed these tickets by 9 June.

Why you haven't emailed us early? On 12.05.2008 we emailed you that we can't to deliver your train how you requested on 20.05.2008, but from the end of May we will be able to deliver them to you. And we still haven't received the answer from you on what date you want to receive the train tickets in US. And we never received from you the information that you will leave on 09.06.2008.

We never received any emails from you, you can check this by log in on this page http://support.waytorussia.net/. Login and password you received when you made your order. We received only your order and no any new emails. Please check this in support center.

So now we can to refund you your full payment or deliver your train tickets to your hotel in Moscow when you will arrive and refund you the delivery fees.
