anyone know how to get the permit for Salekhard or the Yamal Peninsula? any tips / advice / anecdotes would be appreciated!

There are train Moskva-Labutnangi. It goes for 48 hours from Moscow to station Labytnangi, the vievs from it train is very beautiful. From Labytnangi to Salehard 20 km, by boat through river Ob'.
