Although the site is currently only in Russian, just wondering if anyone has tried to buy tickets this way?

momo1tx Just Starting Joined: 22 Feb 2008 Posts: 3	Posted: Thu Jul 03, 2008 7:38 pm    Post subject: Answered my own question Just returned from Russia and can report that the train ticket Internet purchase/pickup worked just fine. I took my printed receipt (which had a barcode on it) to the window marked with a e with a circle around it (like an "at" sign except with an e) and the woman scanned it and printed out my tickets, just like that. This was for the Moscow-St. Petersburg train leaving at 16:30 from the Leningradskii vokzal (if it's still called that)--for 2 it cost $197.63 one way (which is all I needed) on my Visa statement, which was cheaper than any of the online agencies quotes.
