I hope someone will answer with information about Yaroslav Station; I have never taken a train from there. However, in the event that there is not one there, both Leningrad [next door] any Kazan [across the square] Stations have them. I am also not sure about hours of operation, but I recently left luggage at Kazan Station before 9AM and Pickied it back up after 9PM.

Yes, there is a left luggage service at Yaroslavlsky - it is located to the right of track #1. Enter the main station from the front, walk to the rear, out to the tracks. When you get to the tracks, take a right and walk past the small stores and kiosks on your right and make your way over to track #1. There is a white building next to the track - this is the left luggage facility. Sorry, I don't know the hours either - if open it will be hugely apparent that you've found the correct place. Do ensure that they will be open upon your return/planned departure!!

It is the white building under the red circle in this photo...

Directions and photo were very clear and accurate. Inside the station it is very well signposted as well.
We dropped our luggage at 07.00 AM and collected them at 21.00 PM the same day.
Cost was about 70 rubles per rucksack.
