My apologies if this is on the site somewhere -- I looked but couldn't find it.
I plan to visit Russia for 90 days on a single entry business visa later this year. I would like to stay longer than 90 days, however. After the first visa ends, and I leave the country (say, to Ukraine) -- can I immediately apply for a second 90-day single-entry business visa? Or, is there a mandatory waiting period?

You can apply for another visa, but there have been recent changes that state you may only visit on a tourist visa for 180 days out of 365. In addition, the Russian consulate will not issues visas for non-residents/citizens of nearby countries.
Hopefully others will chime in with details. |

| It seems some people have managed to get around the 90/180 day rule by applying for new business visas every 3 months. I haven't heard of anyone being rejected when doing this yet. Not certain whether you'd be able to get it in Ukraine though, because of what Danbrew said. Definitely contact the consulate there first to check. |
