| That's a crazy statement for someone to say. Avoid a place because it's expensive. If that's the case then tourists should avoid places like London, Paris, Rome, and Madrid then also right? All those places are quite expensive but that doesn't stop millions of people from visiting them every year. Don't ever let other people tell you not to go someplace your interested in because they had a bad experience, what was bad for somebody else might be great for you. I personally heard the same kind of things when I went to Europe in 2005 and I had the time of my life, don't believe it until you see it for yourself. Moscow has so many different historical buildings you can see, it's got all those bars and restaurants, you won't run out of things to see. |

Please explain, is it food, clubs, lodging.
And expensive compared to what.
I would appreciate any & all input |
Definately accomadation first of all, and that applies to all of Russia. Food is the next thing. But the biggest problem is the rate of inflation, and as we spoke it has gone up 2%. |

| Well they called Moscow the world's most expensive city for a reason, it's just the way it is. But don't let it stop you from enjoying the experience of being there. You just have to save up appropriately for the trip but Moscow is a great city, you'll be having way to much fun to worry about money. At least I know I'd care more about just going and having fun, lol. |

I would say Los Angeles is as expensive as Moscow ) Or even more when you enter areas as Beverly Hills )))
Unfortunately I have not been to London, Paris etc yet, but I'm pretty sure those cities are obviously making money on tourists also, sad but true
Why, you can always find a cheap hotel or stay outer Moscow, you can also eat out in cafes offering average or low prices, and so on
you just have to make a little research before coming.. and things will be just great
What I mean to say I'm totally agree with BabsDC |
