Hi Guys,
if I pay for the invitation through waytorussia, can you send an original (it's for London embassy, inv for a British citizen)?
And upon arrival, can you help with the registration?
And what will be said in the invitation about where the person is going to stay?
(I am talking about tourist single entry visa)
cheers,
Inna |

Inna,
I thought that Russian consulate doesn't require originals for tourist visa invitations. Do they now? (2 months ago they didn't).
Anyway, if you apply through waytorussia.net our partner visa agency will send you the invitaiton by email. If you need an original, you will need to pay extra $50 US for DHL express post (so the invitation original will be delivered to you max in three days).
The registration is provided, of course.
It will be said in the invitation that the person is going to stay in a hotel -- it is easier to do so for the consulate.

I have looked through your site about the registration and couln't find any information regarding where we should go after we arrive to actually register our visa with you.
Where should we go in Moscow to get our visas registered if we buy it from you?
In the rest the service is great |

Anna.
Hi. I have just used the waytorussia visa support myself. It works great, top service. Here's a run down for you.
a day after submitting on the site I got a mail with an attached form to fill in my credit card details on and return. I printed this off, filled in, signed , scanned it back in and e-mailed them back. Easy. (No scanner?photograph?)
4 days later i got a new mail with the attached visa support comprising of the tourist voucher and the official invite. I printed these off.
I then got myself the visa application form from the Russian consulate website. Having printed that off and filled it in I then sent the form, the visa support stuff, my passport, a postal order for £30 (tourist visa fee for not less than 8 working days processing - see the consulate site for details of options)
off to the consulate.
This added to the expense as i paid for special delivery (not risking my passport). This meant I could also check on the royal mail website and see when it had been delivered there ! I also enclosed an envelope plus special delivery and postage to return it.
The post office were great and advised me what to do etc.
Today i got my tourist visa back. I sent it off on the 20th so altogether about 1 and a half weeks. Allow more though in case!
So from first applying to waytorussia to having it here was just over 3 weeks.
I hope this puts your mind at rest, if you have any questions mail me ian@multimedian.co.uk
I'm staying in a rented apartment but understand i can take my visa to the intel service centre (the agency waytorussia uses) to get it registered.
If I'm wrong here someone please let me know quickly !
All the best

Anna.
i forgot, re your question. No it appears originals are not required. I would check that any print outs/photcopies of e-mail attachments etc that you generate are of good crisp quality though and that its all easily readable.
the london consulate pages are here...
