Hello their please can anyone help me?
my Son has been offered a chance to go to Russia to teach dance,
its for 4 weeks they will be providing accomadation and are paying for his flight,
problem im having is that he's been told that he gets the invertation from this country (uk) we dont know what airport he goes from or lands at, and we cant seem to fill out the visa application without this info, we have just called Russia and spoke to the lady whos ment to be setting this up and as she speaks very little English and we speak no Russian, all we could get was that she said we get the invite from our country.
i thought that the company whos wanting him to come and work their would be sending an invite but we were told to come onto a web site (may even have been this site ) to get the invite,
how can we fill out a visa application without knowing where he will be going from and too,
im totally lost have tryed to get advice from embassy who also said we need letter from the people who are inviting him,
i gotta be honest im worried and my sons very naive he's never been out of the country before, and im worried its dodgy , they say he will get payed 700 dollars a week but that it will be cash this alone sets alarm bells ringing for me, and he's been told to apply for a bussiness visa,
i have looked up the company but their sites in Russian and how do i really know that its them he's going for?
his friend did same thing last year and has just left this week to go to Ukrainian,
but im feeling very uneasy about the whole thing at the same time i dont want my son to miss out on the chance of a lifetime if this is all ligit anyone help plz advive im i just being an over protective mother?

If it's just a dance school then they wouldn't be able to invite foreigners to Russia. So getting a business invitation online would be the only way to do it (you can buy it through this website, by the way).

I didn't really understand the part about the airports. Won't you find that out once you have bought flights? Do they even need that information on the Russian visa application form for the UK?

As for whether the company is legitimate or not, there's nothing in your post that would make me say it's not. It sounds poorly organised (but that's no surprise). What's the company's website (PM me if you don't want to publish it)? And how did your son find them?
