Hotel in Vladivostok?

All of the travel websites I have checked have said "no availability" on these date - I don't know if this is because they are crappy websites or because of the Russian holiday. Any pointers towards a hotel near the train station would be appreciated. thx, danbrew

It's not central but within a fair walking distance. Certainly a good deal closer than the Intourist office where it used to be on Okeanskiy. Be that as it may, Lonely Planet Trans sib or The Trans Sib handbook have a list of places to stay. IIRC there is a slightly dive-like place around the railway station. And do not expect much for your dough..I found a 3 or 4 star rating to be the equivalent of a run down B&B/pub in Vladivostok.... The 5 star (a true rating!) Hyundai (? faulty memory..) on the way to the airport would fund a 3rd world nations debt for a room..... HTH Usualsuspect
