I dunno. But I hope "we the people" have a friend somewhere in this world to come to our aid like Putin did. Seems to me he gave the finger to the NWO.
I voted for Ron Raul and Putin to get Man of the Year on Time Magizine.
Razz
Now if only we can get these two together along with that Iran guy ... and have the media air it. Cool

Why? Because, firstly, the media seem to have trouble taking a nuanced approach to Russia: the Russian government has done some bad things therefore everything they do must be bad.

Secondly, because Russia was so bad at getting its message out. Once the war was underway, the story was no longer about how it started but about the reaction to it. The Georgian and US governments presented a clear, continuous message to the media. Instead of responding with their own message, the Russian government usually just released pictures of a bunch of generals sitting in a room plotting tactics.

The real shame is that the damage has already been done. Not so many people will notice these occasional retractions in the media. Instead, most will be left with the impression that Russia started this war. That gets combined with the other myths (Russia held Ukraine to ransom over gas, etc) and people become unfairly distrustful of Russia.

As I understand they (authorities of OSCE, USA, GB) were very well informed about Georgia's plans. They had very clear understanding about situation, but anyway they chosen aggressive way to blame Russia for everything.

I can't understand why our authorities were able to prepare entire army to action, but weren't able to load army of russian and western journalists into helicopters and descent them under Georgian fire right into burning Tskhinvali. That was serious error.
