Guys... I'm growing sick of the continous spam messages from various bots. Let's put an end to it.

I agree. Dmitri, are you around much these days? getting spurious PM's is a real pain, as if I don't get enough Viagra offers or penis extension offers already .
Need a volunteer to cull the member list? I promise I won't take too much pleasure in performing summary executions of these wankers ID's .
Regards

I have received 2 Pms in in the past 2 days that are spam. Both are from user ferracont. Interested to know if anyone else is getting them. If so I will try to get some action going. They are all in Russian so the average member here won't be able to read them anyhow. Ferracont you are wasting your time you loser.

Yeah, I received one from ferracont too. I could read it, but I choose not to waste my time. It is annoying that it is PM, so I have to log in to check just in case it's something important.

Same here, and agreed, it's annoying that the spam has now entered into the realm of PMs.

I haven't been on this list for years and I just got a private post from Ferracont and a follow up from dcwyde, both in Russian and the second one directing me to a website which I didn't go to. I suspect it will register my email address and send me spam.
Is there any way to ban these two?
If not, I'll remove myself from this site. |

Same here , this site is full of spam and I also have spam in my PM. Who is supposed to be controlling spam here? Why don't you have a spam report button that members can use. Spamnormally gets out of controlled on unmanaged forums. And why in Russian on an english speaking forum. Spammer!! You are wasting your time!!!

FAO ferracont,
"read new rules" PM that directs me to some d***head website? Waste of keyboard or generatorbot.
Someone yank this turkey's account please...in the next 5 minutes???
As I stated before....I would gladly do the job of "thinning the herd" on these tossers...

Hi Dima,
I'll get on it, give me a few days or so as I wouldn't want to cut the innocent off at the knees.
You may also want to consider the use of generating an on-screen password (that cannot be scraped) for future potential members who join or maybe generating a "response required" email, to protect us from these spam generator bots.
Thanks
