|

Hi there!
I just have quick question before launching all the visa process. Is there any solution to be registered for my whole stay and so don't have to do it in the next cities?
I intend to visit Saint Petersburg, Moscow and Vladivostok and to stay with couchsurfers and friends.I don't want to be a hassle for them by registering at the post office, etc...
Thanks for the answer!

Anyone with an idea, did you have the same problem?
People couch surfing, do you register with your host? Not a hassle for them?
Thanks for your help!

Salut Laurent!
I just came back from Russia. I flew to Tomsk, was there 2 days, then drove to Krasnoyarsk for 2 days, then back to Tomsk. Finally, I did an overnight stop in Moscow on the way back. In Tomsk I could register without problems for my whole stay. In case you're staying at a private house, just say that you stay at the same place and they will register you. If you're staying at a hotel, try to ask the hotel, maybe paying a small fee, to register you for your whole stay.
But if you stay more than 3 business days in another city, you shoud register again there... |

Thanks David for the information,
I think I'll try to "play" with the days, registering in an hostel for long stay, arriving in the WE for others stay without registering: you have 3 working days to register.
This means that arriving a saturday, I can for example stay up to tuesday without having to register...Good deal to me!
Thanks again mate, have a nice trip!

yes, so in that case keep all your tickets to prove you didn't stay for more than 3 working days in the same city.
but at the airport, I was never asked for my registration. I showed it some times but they didn't care.
Anyway, I wouldn't risk not to registrate if you have to.
Have a good trip! |
