Timeframe: last week of May 2009.

Is it really necessary and worth booking in advance for a hotel room in the Izmailovo's hotel complex - the complex boasts 7,500 rooms! Barring some special evenets, they can't all be sold out, can they?

I like to keep my options open but the most booking agencies charge cancellation fee no matter how far advance one cancels the room reservation. Unlike the direct booking with the hotel where one can cancel up to a certain time on the day of arrival.

By the way, how come Izmailovo being such a large hotel complex doesn't have its own website and on-line booking facility!?
