Hi, I will be doing a trans sib journey in winter and would love to have a stop off at Lake Baikal but was wondering what it would be like in winter? Has anyone been there in January time??

If you're very lucky you could have up to -4°C.

Freezing cold!! Temperature at the area surrounding the lake drops to -21 degrees Celsius (-6 degrees F).
