Does anyone know if its possible to work with the Traffic Police, ΔΟΡ, on a work visa. Or is there a designed list of jobs?

Do you have reason to believe that Russian police departments are interested in hiring foreigners? Is it even legal for them to do so?

Usually, a work visa starts with a relationship that you have with a business over there. If they decide that they want to hire you, a big process of bureaucracy and paperwork is needed, to apply for the work visa.

During these bad economic times, most governments want to protect jobs for their own citizens, and may be very reluctant to issue visas that allow foreigners to take jobs that otherwise could have been filled by citizens.

If you already work for the police or the army, then there are rare, special training deals where countries exchange personnel, or accept agents to cross border to follow up an investigation which started in their country.
