Ask your mother. What does she feel about her job? How did it change? Is it better or worse or maybe just different - neither better nor worse? Is she still working as a teacher?
You hadn't oranges on the market but you hadn't such bad criminal situation either, had you? Has system become less corrupt?

When you read story don't forget to check who is the writer.

For example? No, I really want to hear those horror stories about daily life in the USSR. Especially in comparsion with the current life. I'm only a couple years older than you. We lived in the same country, didn't we?
P.S. I think our former president said very accurate thing about Soviet Union. You should know it. It is about heart and brains. |
