Hello, I am new to this group, and hopefully can benefit from your travel expertise  . We are about to travel to Nyagan, and I am looking for ANY help in travel options. I know we can fly into Khanty Mansiysk and then is it best to take a train to Nyagan? What is the approx. cost and time? Can I book all of these tickets from the states or is it best to do some of them in the Country for better rates? Please let me know what you know !

We are adopting a child from the Detsky Dom (orphanage) in Nyagan and will be traveling there early this year. I have been told by my adoption agency that there is air transportation to/from Moscow on Wednesdays and Fridays. I found a flight on the internet with an airline called UtAir. Otherwise, I've been told, it is a three day train trip. You can fly to Khanty-Mansiysk and then take a commuter flight to Nyagan on other days, I think.
