Privet,

I totally fell in love with this short story of Tokareva's, is there any decent English translation floating around on the Internet?

Thing is, sometimes I have no idea regarding how to translate certain parts correctly, and would like to compare my translation with others...

When I started to study English I gave up reading translated books and watching dubbed films. So many things are lost in translation. I guess opposite is correct also.

Myself, I rather stick to books in the original language but Russian is full of idioms and phrases that give a good reason to read translations made by people who've mastered Russian.
