Hi everyone,

I found in the net , which I think is useful information for every one.

Calls to Russia for 5p/min - via access number 0844545 3211
You can call for 3p/min from a landline using access number 0844988 3211.
Dial this number from a landline;
After the prompt dial your number in Russia including the full international code and that's it, you are connected.

Do not use these numbers from a mobile as mobile networks charge about 30p/min dialling 0844 numbers. Use only from a landline.

If you wish to call from a mobile there's other access number.
This is 07744973211.
Dial this number from a mobile;
After the prompt dial your number in Russia including the full international code and that's it , you are connected.
If you are on monthly price plan, you can use your free minutes to call to Russia, so you do not pay extra on the top. The time minutes you speak to Russia via 07744973211 are deducted from your free minutes of your monthly price plan.
Just does not work with 3G network.

I tried it and works perfect!

Anyone in the UK experianced it??
Any comments?

I just use www.telediscount.co.uk to call Russia and/or Ukraine.

There is a list of countries and rates and access numbers on their website.

Well, http://phonecards.waytorussia.net is also very cheap, less than 1p / min.

However, I find the most convenient in UK is 18866 -- see http://www.18866.co.uk -- this does not require any PINs, you just register the numbers you want to use it with and voila -- dial 18866 and then the number you need to reach. 2p/min + 4p connection charge. The quality is excellent. You can also use this number to make free local calls as well. There's access number for mobile, too.

Ok,
But all these you quote requires connection charge - that's the way the companies make money....
What about if you are diverted to voice mail? - you pay 4-5p/min connection charge + the tariff and you do not have chance to speak with the person you with to...
The phone cards cheat a lot. Once you dial your number, the operator speaks that for £5 you'll get 500min, but finally if you account with a stopwatch, you'll get not more than 100.

THE CHEAPEST WAY EVER - COMPLETELY FREE
WORKS FROM MOBILE ONLY
How does it work!
Get 2 mobiles on orange network on contract for 1000 or 1500 free minutes every month. There's promotion for free line rental - based on cash back.
Before you dial Russia, use access number 07744793211.This access number does not work with 3G and T-Mobile
The time you talk to Russia via 07744793211 is taken from your free minutes. No connection charge! For example if you reach voice mail and you disconnect after 2 seconds, 2 seconds will be deducted from your free minutes. Try not to go over your monthly allowance.
After 6 months you will get cash/check back from the retailer for your monthly line rental. Usually 681 GBP if you are on 1000 mins. You have to knock off the tariff to 400 mins off-peak after the 6th month if your target is the line rental to come as free for 12 months.
On the top of this 2 free handsets are provided for free to your satisfaction.
HAPPY CHAT!

You might get nasty bill if your landline operator is a cabel, not a BT...
All other networks over charge dialing 0844, 0845 and 090 numbers.

Hi Try this Teletop system

http://www.teletop.co.uk/

Total calls to Call ANY Russian landline is £0.005 / min ( YES half pence) plus a 5p connection charge. I think the cost to call Russian mobiles is 2.5p / min

I have the BT anytime package and can qualify for free 1 hour calls anytime. So I don't pay to dial the London 0208 1802 802 access number

The Service is generally good. It does have its moments. If I can't connect, I normally fall back to Bestminutes 0844 462 2727 (2p / min no connection charge)

I have notice that most calls to Russia are disconnected after 30 mins. If this the same for everyone?
