It is possible to stay in quality hotels in Saint Petersburg yet not spending too much. Why should we pay so much money if it is really possible to pay less without harming our standards? There are 6 good and inexpensive hotels in the city I highly recommend: Sky Hotel (55-60$), Nevsky Hotel Grand (70$), Nevsky Hotel Express(70$), Nevsky Hotel Aster (70$), Nevsky Hotel Moyka 5(70$), and Nevsky Hotel Central(70$). I booked them all for these prices in easy click travel web site. These prices refer to double rooms including breakfast. Some of them had even internet access Very Happy

You can check the actual prices of these hotels in Hotelscombined http://bit.ly/bgRaLp The prices mentioned above are only off-season prices. During summer months be ready to face with different price level.

I realize this may not apply at all but Old petersburg Hostel charges 10 dollars a night. For a dorm room, and 30 dollars for a private room. For those that read this post later on.

You can find it on Hostelword, or oldhotel.ru

I booked a hotel in Saint-Petersburg through this site www(.)sntpeters(.)com

take out the brackets

and I stayed at Sky hotel. It's a regular hotel with EXCELLENT central location. just what I needed. I didn't want to overpay, you know. And this hotel was right ON Nevsky Proskekt. I couldn't find a more central location for such a price. Good ratio!

I hope this helps!
