Kat-wtr Just Starting Joined: 26 Aug 2003 Posts: 5 Location: Cambridge, MA	Posted: Mon Sep 22, 2003 10:05 am    Post subject: 1-2 day trips from St. Petersburg--Karelia, Finland, Estonia I'm looking for advice for a 1-2 day trip to take from St. Petersburg. My travel companion is very enthusiastic about visiting another country while we are on vacation in Russia, i.e. Estonia or Finland. Which city or activities would you suggest? We would be very interested in getting there by boat, but train would also be okay. Or do you think spending those 1-2 days in Karelia would be a better experience? And what would you recommend there? Thank you ahead of time for any replies! Katrina
