I'm logging in once in a while to clean up the worst of the spam, and I look for the rare questions to answer. I refuse to become a facebook lemming, and therefore have had nothing to do with his facebook page. I looked at it a couple of times: it seemed pretty lame, and many of the practical travel questions were either not answered, or poorly answered. If you (or any of the old gang) read this reply, please pm me your email -- I'd like to keep in touch with any of the "old Russian hands". Удачи!

Strangely enough there are always many guests on the forum but unfortunately the info here is way out of date now. I just got home yesterday from 6 fabulous weeks in Blagoveshchensk, Progress Habarovsk, and Vladivostock plus a week in Shanghai so am fairly up to date with procedures and regulations, shame there is nobody to share with. Romdur, I was wondering who was deleting the spam, I was doing it for a while but it wasn't worth the effort single handed. I was also not aware that you had mod status but that is harldy surprising as none of us show up as mods any more. Perhaps you and I combine and do a clean up people will return here, like you I don't like the fb site although I do use fb to keep in touch. Cheers Nik
