Hi folks,

I was supposed to visit St. Petersburg over the summer and had my visa etc. all sorted out. Unfortunately, events got the better of me and I never made it to Russia.

Now I have a (British) passport with an unused/unstamped tourist Russian visa in it, and was wondering if this is likely to cause a problem in the future when i apply again, or perhaps at the Russian border on my way in? Also, on future application forms, If i tick the never been to Russia before option and then they see a visa in my passport may that cause problems?

Finally, on the (very rare) off chance, Is there any possibility at all of getting a refund for the cost of my visa. I really doubt it, but anybody know any better?

Thanks in advance
Rich
