Hey, all. Smile

There's four of us heading out accross Russia, from St. Petersburg to Vladivostok, stopping in Moscow & Irktusk. We've been looking at the paperwork etc, and we think we have that end pretty covered, but we've been left with a couple of practical questions about the train. are there sockets aboard? (for shavers, radios etc)
Any good suggestions for books?
and are we missing anything crucial?

(also, has anyone gotten the boat from Vladivostok to Japan, been reading that it exists, but haven't had any accounts of it)

thanks,
Andy.

Hello Andy!

Sure, there is a boat which sails to Japan to different destinations depending on whatever you want to come, mainly cities-ports. Have you ever been to Vlad before?
If you need any help in Vlad, our company will be glad to assist you.

Good luck,
Marina

Hey Marina,
thanks a million. Smile No, none of us have been to Vlad before, but we're looking forward to spending a couple of days there. We're looking to be there sometime around november/december. Is that a good time? Any fun things to do there at that time?

What's the name of your company? and what do you do?

Thanks again,

Andy

Hello Andy! Smile

How are you doing?
You said November-December Smile If you are not afraid of cold, so WELCOME!
Every time is good but it seems to me that Summer or Autumn (not late) would be the best time to visit Vlad. You could enjoy the warmth of the sea and see the surroundings in blossom and beauty.
