Yapona Mama serves good quality Japanese cuisine at mid-range prices. The interior is modern with tasteful Japanese paraphernalia lining the walls. The Tsvetnoy Bulvar location is a two storey affair with wall-length glass windows looking out onto the boulevard and a great summer terrace. An average bill here will come to about $25. The business lunch (from 12pm-4pm) is worth a look at 295 rubles ($10) for a drink, soup, salad and either a hot meal or a plate of sushi. On Friday and Saturday nights a DJ spins chill-out music keeping customers entertained until early morning making the restaurant a good place to check out if you happen to be craving sushi after a few heavy hours of drinking.
